At Motherhand, I offer a whole-body approach to supporting mothers before & after birth. Whether you’re preparing for labour or navigating the early weeks postpartum, my Pilates, Massage & movement-based offerings are designed to help you feel more connected, supported & more at home in your body.

These small, empowering Birth prep workshops are for expectant mothers (and birth partners!) who want to feel calm, informed, and confident going into birth.

You’ll learn:

  • Breathing & movement techniques for labour

  • Positions to support a smoother birth

  • Partner support strategies

  • How to create a calming birth environment

  • Mind-body tools to ease fear and tension

Whether it's your first or third baby, this workshop helps you feel grounded and ready. Birth preparation that goes beyond the textbook—rooted in real bodies, real lives, and your instincts.

Postnatal Mum & Baby Pilates

Rebuild from the Inside Out

My Postnatal Pilates classes are gentle, restorative, and rooted in your real-life postpartum experience. We work slowly and intentionally to rebuild core strength, support pelvic floor recovery, ease aches and pains, and restore confidence in your body after birth.

Perfect for new mums who want to:

  • Move safely after birth or C-section

  • Reconnect with core & pelvic floor

  • Ease tension from feeding and carrying

  • Make space for their own wellbeing

  • Meet other local mums in a supportive space

  • Benefit from personalised and bespoke classes designed specifically for you. These 1:1 classes will help you to deepen your understanding & practice and really connect to your body.

    Bring your babies along to a mum focused Postnatal Pilates class.

    Small equipment is provided but please bring your own mat and blanket for babe to be on

Postnatal Massage

Because You Deserve to be Held, Too

Mothering is physical, emotional, and all-consuming. My Postnatal Massage sessions are a chance to pause, exhale, and receive care. Designed specifically for postpartum bodies, each session helps relieve muscular tension, encourage healing, and support nervous system regulation.

Available from six weeks postpartum (or sooner, depending on your recovery), these treatments are a beautiful reset—nourishing your body and spirit.

  • I do not use a massage table at home visits. All treatments are done on your bed on sitting on the floor. Babies are encouraged to be present and so this is my favourite way of giving this treatment.
